Facilitator & Curriculum
"Truth, like gold, is to be obtained not by its growth, but by washing away from it all that is not gold.”

~ Leo Tolstoy
I have extensive experience with teaching and curriculum design throughout a wide variety of venues and audience types. Since 2006 I have taught university level courses, from small seminars to large lecture halls, and am an expert in successfully designing and delivering engaging content to both youth and adult learners. I am familiar with a variety of learning management systems including Blackboard, Canvas, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, and Moodle. I am comfortable with teaching in-person, online, or hybrid. I also have designed unique assessment tools to revise curriculum content and implementation. I’ve used surveys, in-depth interviews, focus groups, and rubrics to gain tailored insights. I am constantly seeking how to improve teaching and facilitation to better serve students and meet today’s challenges.
I approach educating people as a facilitator, rather than as the leader or sole expert in the room. Cultivating knowledge and growth is a community practice, and all people must feel included and invested in the conversation for the process to work.
Examples of my work in these areas are below.
